Artwork in Perspective

Here's some food for thought:

If this framed print (not painting, just a print) sells for $45 online,

It's a 15" x 21" poster in a frame.

why would hand-painted, teeny-tiny cookies be anything less than the cost of a work of art?
Hand painted cookie artwork. ARTWORK.

Please remember, when you're asking for someone to hand-paint intricate details onto a cookie, the cookies aren't going to cost the same as grocery store cookies. They are literally works of art on an edible canvas. You're going to EAT their artwork. They spent hours painting your cookies to perfection, not to mention the baking and icing, and you're just going to eat it. Cookie artists are going to expect to be compensated, so don't go insulting their work by trying to only pay $2 per cookie.
